Our personal trainers are highly motivated individuals who possess either a Bachelors or Masters Degree and/or certifications in physical fitness. Jon Williams, Wellness Director

Jon owned his own strength and conditioning facility, The Edge Training & Fitness, prior to Hurricane Charley. He has also developed pre and post surgery training protocols for hip and knee, and was a former Wellness Director for the Central Florida YMCA.

Personal Philosophy:
I am proud to be a part of a dedicated team that truly has a passion for wellness and the health of others. I am very confident in our team’s ability to provide a proficient, high quality service to Punta Gorda Club members and clients.

Yvette Puskarich, Clinical Exercise Specialist

A Clinical Exercise Specialist (CES) possesses an advanced personal trainer certification that demonstrates the ability to provide exercise programming for people who suffer from a chronic disease or have experienced some form of injury. The CES designs and implements a program of appropriate physical activity that will benefit a specific condition while taking a person's limitations into consideration.

With physician release, following a persons treatment or rehabilitation for a clinically documented disease, injury or disability, the Clinical Exercise Specialist will develop for the client a "condition specific" exercise protocol for: Strengthening, improving range of motion, neuromuscular re-education, Balancing extremity strength, increasing muscular endurance and cardiovascular function.
